Drill Backing Pad 150mm

Description

A drill backing pad turns an ordinary electric drill into a disc sander for light jobs. The shank goes into the drill chuck, and the 150mm pad holds sanding discs for smoothing timber, removing paint and cleaning up surfaces.

Tighten the chuck well and keep the drill at a moderate speed so that the disc does not burn the surface. Hold the drill with both hands and keep the pad slightly tilted for control. Wear eye protection and a dust mask.

• Sanding with a drill
• Paint removal
• Light timber smoothing

Not for angle grinders.
