Closed-front 12 V 50 W dichroic halogen downlight lamp.
Description
A low-voltage MR16 style dichroic halogen reflector lamp with a closed glass front. Runs off a 12 V transformer, not straight off mains.
Check the existing lamp is 12 V before fitting; a GU10 mains downlight needs a different lamp. Closed-front lamps are the right choice in open downlight fittings with no cover glass, because the front glass contains the hot capsule if it fails.
Used for:
- Replacing 12 V downlight lamps in ceilings
- Display and shop spot lighting
- Kitchen and passage downlights
- Spares for hotel and restaurant lighting
Not for 230 V GU10 fittings.
