Brass flush bolt for holding the fixed leaf of double cupboard doors.
Description
A small flush bolt let into the edge of a cupboard door so it sits level with the surface. Slide the bolt to hold the fixed leaf of a pair of doors at top or bottom.
Chisel a shallow recess to the bolt plate, then drill for the bolt keep.
Used for:
- Double cupboard and wardrobe doors
- Display and kitchen cabinets
- Fitted furniture
Not for external doors; use a heavy-duty flush bolt.
