A Cobra C-097-20 tap washer, 20 mm, for re-sealing a dripping tap.
Description
Cobra C-097-20 is a 20 mm replacement tap washer. It fits on the jumper of the tap headgear; when the old washer wears, the tap drips even when closed, and a new washer seals it again.
Turn off the water, open the tap to drain it, undo the headgear and fit the new washer. Check the tap seat for damage while it is open. A worn washer wastes water every day, so replacing it is one of the quickest and cheapest plumbing fixes. Take the old washer to compare sizes, and check the tap seat for damage while the tap is open.
