Carpet Bar Fluted Silver 915mm

Description

A carpet bar covers and holds down the raw edge of the carpet at a threshold so it does not fray or lift and trip someone. The fluted top gives a ribbed, non-slip look. Our stock data does not give the width, material or fixing type.

Cut it to the width of the doorway with a hacksaw and file the ends smooth. Fix it down with the screws or nails supplied, or ones that suit the subfloor, and check the carpet is tucked under the lip.

Used for:

• Doorways between carpet and tiles or vinyl
• Bedroom and passage thresholds
• Replacing a worn or loose carpet strip
