A 150 mm steel bag-closing (grain bag) needle for stitching sacks and woven bags closed with twine.
Description
A long, strong steel needle with a large eye and a curved, pointed tip, made for sewing the tops of grain, feed, sand and coal bags closed with twine. The curved tip passes through woven polypropylene and hessian easily.
Thread it with baling twine or bag-closing string and stitch across the mouth of the bag, pulling each stitch tight.
Used for:
- Closing grain and animal-feed bags
- Sewing sand and rubble bags
- Repairing hessian and woven sacks
- Stitching tarpaulins and shade netting
