Aftool Cold Flat Chisel 350 x 25mm

Description

Aftool form this chisel from hexagonal SS1083 tool steel. The body tapers to a primary and secondary cutting edge, each chisel is hardness tested, and it is dip-painted after manufacture. The 350 mm length keeps your hand well back from the striking end.

Strike it with a ball pein or club hammer, never with a hardened sledge face. Grind off any mushrooming on the head before it can chip. Always wear eye protection.

Used for:

• Chopping concrete and plaster
• Cutting off rusted mild steel bolts
• Splitting brick and trimming masonry
