Description
Afrox Vitemax is a premium quality rutile general-purpose electrode, AWS A5.1 E6013, for welding mild and carbon-manganese steel in all positions, including vertical down, on AC or DC. It has a smooth, quiet arc, low spatter, easy striking and re-striking, and the slag is in most cases self-lifting. It welds relatively cold, which suits tacking and bridging gaps where fit-up is poor. This is the 3.15mm size in a 1kg pack.
Keep electrodes dry and wear a welding helmet, gloves and protective clothing.
