Academy Layman Paint Brush

Description

The Layman is Academy Brushware’s budget general-purpose brush: mixed bristle set in a plastic handle, rated by Academy for both water-based and oil-based (enamel) paints. It is the brush to keep for everyday jobs around the house where a premium brush would be wasted.

Choose the width for the job. The 38mm reaches into window frames, burglar bars and tight cutting-in; the 50mm is the all-round size for doors, frames and skirtings; the 75mm carries more paint for gates, fences, fascias and larger flat areas.

• Cutting in walls and ceilings
• Doors, window frames, skirtings and burglar bars
• Gates, fences and general DIY painting

Sold each. Load only the first third of the bristles. Rinse in water after water-based paint, or clean in thinners after enamel, then hang to dry.
