Academy Foundry Wire Brush, Coarse Wire – Wooden Block

Description

A heavy block-type foundry brush from Academy with coarse steel wire set in a wooden block. Academy lists it for cleaning rust and removing paint. The coarse wire cuts through scale, flaking paint, weld spatter and mortar on steel, brick and rough surfaces faster than the fine-wire version.

Brush in straight strokes, wear gloves and eye protection, and dust the surface off before priming. For softer metals or a finer finish, use the fine-wire brush instead.

Used for:

• Removing rust and scale from steel
• Stripping flaking paint before priming
• Cleaning braai grids, brickwork and castings

Sold each.
