Academy Ebony Paint Brush

Description

The Ebony is a paint brush from Academy Brushware with synthetic bristles and a plastic handle. Academy lists it for both water-based and oil-based paints.

Synthetic bristles keep their shape in water-based paint and rinse out easily, so it is a dependable all-round brush for PVA, acrylic and enamel. Load about a third of the bristle length and lay off in one direction.

Used for:

• Cutting in walls and ceilings
• Doors, frames and skirtings
• Gates, fences and general DIY painting

Sold each. Wash out in water after water-based paint, or in thinners after enamel, and hang to dry.
